Welcome to the Canton Amateur Sports Hall of Fame

The eleven Associations who comprise The Greater canton are listed here. It is a DREAM COME TRUE for as well to the many loyal contributors, that this building is now officially open for public visitation.
It too over two and one-half (2½) years before the major part of this building was finally rehabilitated through the aid of Community Development Block Grant Funds authorized by the Stark County Commissioners, Mayor Stanley Cmich and Canton City Council and the Canton Preservation Society.
Since the opening year, much has been done to beautify the first and second floor level through private funds. On behalf of the Officers and Board of Trustees, I wish to express our deep appreciation for the financial support of several hundred individual contributors, businesses, foundations, etc., during fund drives.
This building has become quite an activity center. Most of the associated sports groups have been holding their excutive boards and various committee meetings in the conference room.
The women and men bowler have offices which are functioning daily.         — Arp Spera, President
